MyPractice Report: Long-Term Care
A key strategy for improving health care in the long-term care setting is measurement and feedback to health care providers engaged in improvement and innovation.
Physicians across Ontario are using the data and resources available in their confidential MyPractice: Long-Term Care report to promote quality improvement and excellent resident care.
MyPractice reports enable physicians working in long-term care to confidentially see their prescribing patterns (including antipsychotics and benzodiazepines) in relation to peers across the province.
There are data on resident characteristics like the aggressive behaviour scale, clinical indications, and percentage of new residents. This means you’ll be able to take the data and work with your care team to find specific patients in need of attention. In addition to your data, you’ll get practice ideas and resources, which means less effort and time finding solutions that may already exist.
Your report is not available to anyone other than you.
Join the hundreds of long-term care physicians across Ontario to further promote the culture of quality improvement and optimal resident care.
