Chief Regional Officer, East and Toronto Regions

Scott is an accomplished health care leader with proven results guiding teams toward measurable and sustained improvement. He has a track record of supporting regional and provincial initiatives, including Ontario Health Teams and pandemic response.

Previous to joining Ontario Health, Scott was President and CEO of Baycrest Hospital and Long-Term Care, where he oversaw a 262-bed post-acute hospital, a 472-bed long-term care home and a team of more than 1,600 staff. He has held a number of progressive leadership roles over his career, including Executive Vice President, Hospital and Long-Term Care and Vice President, Clinical Programs and Corporate Performance at Baycrest. He also worked in leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer at Baycrest Global Solutions and led Strategic Planning and Performance and Transformation at Rouge Valley Health System.

Scott started his health care career as a physiotherapist. He holds a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration (MHSc) from the University of Toronto, a BSc (PT) in physiotherapy from Leeds Metropolitan University and a BPE from McMaster University.

As Chief Regional Officer, Scott is committed to developing collaborative relationships and contributing to the well-being of communities by driving seamless integration and impactful changes in support of person-centred care.
